HYDERABAD:The concluding Ceremony of Telangana Janapada Jatara (Folk Festival) will be held at Ravindra Bharati in Hyderabad on Monday.
The ten-day Janapada Jatara, celebrating the folk arts of Telangana, was held in all districts to mark the first anniversary of Telangana formation. The day-long concluding ceremony titled ‘Folkathon’ will feature various folk art forms of Telangana staged by folk artistes from across the state. Nizamabad MP K Kavita, Sanskruthika Saradhi chairman Rasamai Balakishan, Desapati Srinivas, among others will attend the celebrations, said Mamidi Harikrishna, director of Language and Culture Department, Telangana.
The celebrations are held under the aegis of Telangana Language and Culture Department.
