TPERM Formed to Promote Quality Edn

HYDERABAD:Demanding basic facilities at schools and quality education in government-run educational institutions, social activists, teachers and educationalists formed the Telangana People’s Education Reforms Movement (TPERM) here on Sunday.

Led by Prof Kancha Ilaiah, TPERM conducted a state-level seminar on ‘Education sector in Telangana’ at Osmania University.

Speaking at the conference, Prof Kancha Ilaiah, former chief secretary Kaki Madhava Rao and noted educationalist Chukka Ramaiah urged the state government to implement the Right to Education Act in the state.
