HYDERABAD: Training class for Returning Officers (ROs) and Assistant Returning Officers (AROs) was conducted in two batches on Monday at the GHMC head office.
As many as 40 ROs and 40 AROs participated in the morning session and an equal number of officers were present in the afternoon session. The class was aimed at training the ROs and AROs in the pre poll arrangements.
A live demonstration of Electronic Voting Machine (EVMs) was given at the training class. Engineers from ECIL explained about the functioning of EVMs and the do’s and don’ts related to it. The classes will continue on Tuesday as around 360 ROs/AROs have to be trained for the GHMC elections due next month.
