HYDERABAD: Varanasi Udaya Bhaskar has been appointed as the chairman and managing director of Bharat Dynamics Limited, a Miniratna Category-1 PSU under the Union ministry of defence. Earlier, he was director (Production) in the company.
An M Tech in polymer science & technology from IIT, Delhi, Udaya Bhaskar did his B Tech in plastics technology and chemical engineering from HBTI, Kanpur. He has rich experience in various areas of missile production spanning over 25 years.Udaya Bhaskar made significant contribution in the areas of corporate & strategic management, contract & quality management and personnel management.
