Gurudatta Takes Charge as BDL Director

HYDERABAD:  With a career spanning over 30 years in missile production, V Gurudatta Prasad on Saturday assumed charge as Director (Production) in Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL).

An MTech graduate in industrial engineering  from JNTU-H, Gurudatta Prasad did his BE in mechanical engineering from Bangalore University. Prior to his new appointment, he served as general manager at BDL. 

He has also contributed to various areas in missile production including systems engineering, component production etc. He has established facilities for integration and testing of Milan- 2T Anti-Tank Guided Missile (ATGM) and has been instrumental in accelerating indigenisation of components, machines and test equipments of Milan- 2T ATGM. Before joining BDL, he served in Hyderabad Allwyn Ltd, Hyderabad.
