HYDERABAD: An 18-year-old woman died while her three friends were hospitalised receiving serious injuries as their car overturned after hitting a tree. The accident happened on Saturday in Hayatnagar police limits. The deceased was identified as Roopa Reddy. The injured are Pavan Reddy, Pradeep Reddy and Soumya.
Hayatnagar police inspector J Narender said that the four students were travelling on Saturday night on account of the weekend. As their vehicle reached the Ramoji Film City, Pradeep lost his control and rammed into the tree. Roopa was sitting next to the driver’s seat and thus received serious head injuries. She was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her dead. However, health of the other students is stable.
