HYDERABAD: A 27-year-old man has been for allegedly uploading videos featuring him and his former girlfriend on porn websites, the Cyberbad Police said today.
B Rupesh bore a grudge against his former girlfriend as she married another man, police said.
"The accused also sent a CD of the videos to victim's in-laws through post," a police officer said.
Both Rupesh and the victim hail from Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh and fell in love when they were in the same class at an engineering college. But they fell out and the girl broke off the relationship.
After the girl's family lodged a complaint, he was arrested two days ago under section 354 of IPC (outraging woman's modesty) and Information Technology Act and released on bail, police said.
He was also given some counselling.
