Banjara Hills police have filed a petition before the court seeking custody of accused Rajiv and his friend Sravan for questioning the duo in connection with beautician Sirisha’s suicide case.

HYDERABAD: Banjara Hills police have filed a petition before the court seeking custody of accused Rajiv and his friend Sravan for questioning the duo in connection with beautician Sirisha’s suicide case. The court directed the accused counsel to file a counter and posted the hearing.

In the petition, police said that the family members of Sirisha have raised many doubts over alleged suicide of Sirisha. Police said that they have found blood stained clothes of Sirisha and sent to forensic lab for tests.

“During investigation, we have collected details in connection with Sirisha’s death case and they are to be cross verified with the accused for questioning. We have also found Sirisha’s mobile phone in which a number of audio clippings of conversation between various persons taken place,’’ police said adding they found some conversations doubtful.

Meanwhile, an audio clip of Sirisha was leaked in which she had conversation with Rajiv and other persons where she threatened Rajiv’s girlfriend. In the audio clip, Sirisha asked Rajiv to provide details of his girlfriend.
