Sudanese national falls to death in Hyderabad

Hours after partying at his friends’ flat, a Sudan national studying post-graduation in Pharmacy at Osmania University, was found dead in a pit near the apartment in Neredmet on Sunday.

HYDERABAD: Hours after partying at his friends’ flat, a Sudan national studying post-graduation in Pharmacy at Osmania University, was found dead in a pit near the apartment in Neredmet on Sunday.
The victim Salih Abdein Salih (28), along with his friends, had partied on Saturday night and is suspected to have fallen to his death from the balcony of the fourth floor of the apartment.

Salih, a native of Sudan, came to India about four years ago on a student visa and was staying along with his friends in Sainikpuri. On Saturday, he planned a party at a friend’s flat in Neredmet. The party which started at around 10 pm. When Salih’s roommate reached the party later, he learnt that Salih had left along with his girlfriend. Meanwhile. on Sunday morning, passersby noticed Salih lying in a pit beside the apartment and informed the watchman, who alerted the Neredmet police.

After initial probe, Kushaiguda ACP P Krishna Murthy said, “It is suspected that he would have fallen to death from the balcony.”
