HYDERABAD: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials, who are investigating the suspended HMDA (planning) director K Purushotham Reddy’s alleged illegal assets case, arrested Purushotham Reddy’s brother-in-law Srinivas Reddy on Wednesday.Srinivas Reddy is absconding since ACB officials registered cases on Purushotham Reddy.
Based on court directions, the absconding Srinivas Reddy visited his residence along with the ACB officials and the agency searched the residence located in SR Nagar. However, the ACB officials were shocked that the flat was completely empty and no documents were found. The ACB officials said that they arrested Srinivas Reddy and would produce him before the court for judicial remand.
