SCR marks World AIDS Day with awareness drive

HYDERABAD: The SCR’s Hyderabad division observed World AIDS Day on Monday with an awareness programme at the Health Unit in Kacheguda, highlighting the need for continued vigilance, prevention and public support in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Around 70 railway beneficiaries and 25 outsourced cleaning staff participated in the sessions. Senior DMO Dr G Vedaranya from Central Hospital, Lallaguda, emphasised timely diagnosis, treatment adherence and empathetic support for people living with HIV.
