C M Daniel of the Kochi Toastmasters Club has been awarded the title of ‘Distinguished Toastmaster’ by Toastmasters International at a ceremony held at Don Bosco IMAGE media institute at Vennala the other day. The award was handed over by Dr Neena Thomas, president of the Kochi Toastmasters Club. The ‘Distinguished Toastmaster’ is the highest accolade from the Toastmasters’ International and recognises that the member has reached the highest point of communication and leadership opportunities available through Toastmasters. C M Daniel is the founderpresident of Kochi Toastmasters’ Club which was formed in 2004. The leadership he provided to the Toastmasters movement has resulted in the formation of nearly 14 clubs in the state. Daniel has been associated with the Toastmasters’ movement for over 30 years.
