The harvest at the Pokkali fields on Saturday at 6.30 am will also offer live fish stock to the public. The harvesting and sale fair will be inaugurated by Kumbalangi grama panchayat president Susan Joseph. The fair was organised as part of the NICRA project by Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI).
The major aim of the project is to offer tasty fishes that are cultivated at the Pokkali fields which are cent per cent organic and thereby branding these delicious fishes.
