KOCHI: Renowned dancer Daksha Sheth and Mohiniyattam Exponent Kalamandalam Sathyabhama were selected for the ‘Nritya Paramacharya’awards, the lifetime achievement awards instituted by the Dancers and Choreographers Association (DACA). “The other awards by the DACA for contributions to various performing arts will go to Koodiyattam exponent Dr G Indu, Chavittunadakam
artist Roy Georgekutty and modern dance performer Rajesh Rajendran,” said DACA state general secretary Binu Lawrence at a press conference here on Monday. The awards will be resented at a function to be held at the YMCA Hall here on Wednesday. The function will be inaugurated by Malathi G Menon.
