A1 Grading Certificate for Euro Tech Maritime Academy

KOCHI: Euro Tech Maritime Academy, Maritime College, conducting whole range  of Pre-Sea, Post-Sea and Competency courses approved by DG Shipping under the Ministry of Shipping has bagged A1 Grading from the Indian Register of Shipping.

A1 Grading from the Indian Registrar of Shipping is the highest  certification being granted by DG Shipping to maritime training institutes in the country as per stringent norms laid out by the DG Shipping.

According to promoter directors Babu Joseph and Jenson Paul, this grading under Comprehensive Inspection Programme (CIP) was done as per the requirement of the Directorate General of Shipping (DG Shipping).  Euro Tech Maritime Academy is one among the few Institutes in India to be awarded the Highest Grade of A1. 

With the receipt of A1 grade, Euro Tech Maritime Academy has been granted a Green Channel facility to commence various courses without following the present system of undergoing DG Shipping inspection for each and every course. 

The Academy is also affiliated to Indian Maritime University for the conduct of B.Tech course in Marine Engineering and BSc in Nautical Science course.
