SAP Learning Hub Launched at Fisat

KOCHI: Federal Institute of Science & Technology (Fisat) has launched SAP Learning Hub program for MBA students to enhance their IT skills with an objective to provide better job opportunities and career growth.

The SAP program based on ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software was inaugurated by Joyce Priya Immaculate, operations specialist, SAP India.

He stressed the need for students to have multiple skill sets to perform well in the corporate world. Learning Hub is the initiative of SAP India to train students so that the right type of trained manpower will  be readily available for the industry.

Paul Mundadan, chairman, Fisat who presided over the function talked about the necessity of management students acquiring latest skills like SAP to remain in the competitive world.

P T Thomas, senior general manager of V-Guard Industries who delivered the keynote address emphasised the need for MBA students to acquire IT skills to undertake the management functions efficiently.

George Isaac, principal, Fisat and A K Sahad, MD of Electro-Mech Enterprises offered felicitations. P A Mathew, director, Fisat Business School welcomed the gathering, Arun Jacob, student representative proposed a vote of thanks
