Stray dog bites 20 in Kochi, later locals kill dog

As many as 20 people suffered injuries after a stray dog ran riot on Friday at Perumbavoor along the Aluva-Munnar Road.

KOCHI: As many as 20 people suffered injuries after a stray dog ran riot on Friday at Perumbavoor along the Aluva-Munnar Road.  

Those who suffered dog bites are students and pedestrians. They were taken to a nearby taluk hospital and then moved to the Government Medical College, Kochi, where they were given the anti-rabies vaccine.

Local people later killed the dog.
