Irish ‘iheed’ to launch online med training programme

KOCHI: Iheed, an Irish, online medical education provider, in partnership with St George’s University of London, is set to launch its cost-effective online training programme for healthcare professionals via interactive sessions in Kochi on October 2.

CEO and founder of iheed Dr Tom O’Callaghan will introduce the course – PG diploma-Diabetes in Primary Care – at IMA hall, Kaloor, from 7 pm to 8.30 pm. O’Callaghan will visit three other cities, Kottayam, Thiruvananthapuram and Delhi, to promote iheed’s online course which combines practical and case-based learning.

This programme promises to produce highly-skilled clinicians, enabling graduates to tackle the critical, non-communicable disease through an advanced online learning platform complete with weekly online live video tutorials, online assignment submission and full academic grading, mentor-ship, face-to-face clinical workshops and an online library.
