NeST Software has obtained International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) accreditation, according to a release issued by the company. ISTQB, based in Belgium, is the world’s only non-profit organisation solely dedicated to providing practical and globally-accepted software testing certification.
NeST was one of the first companies in Kerala to get ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and CMMI Level 5 accreditation. N.Jehangir, vice-chairman and managing director of the NeST Group said that the ISTQB accreditation is yet another step in their commitment to achieve international level of quality and customer satisfaction in all areas of operation.
Software testing plays a major role in the quality of the final software delivered. Software testing professionals have to be adequately trained to undertake this highly skilled job. NeST lays considerable emphasis on the training of its professionals, and now with its ISTQB accredited training courseware, the company will be able to enhance the quality of its software testers, claimed the release.
Software testing professionals at NeST who have undergone the ISTQB accredited training will be equipped to take up the certification themselves. NeST Cyber Campus, the training division of NeST group will offer the ISTQB accredited testing course to professionals in the State aspiring for ISTQB certification, the release said.
