THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Air-India is introducing three more flights to Muscat and one each to Abu Dhabi and Dubai in its winter schedule coming into effect on October 26.

 The airline would be operating flights to Abu Dhabi and Dubai and to Muscat on all days, except Tuesday, under the new schedule. With this, the total number of Air-India Express flights to the Gulf will increase to 27 per week, said Air-India Thiruvananthapuram station manager M. Jyothi Prakash.

 The Thiruvananthapuram- Riyadh flight AI 923 on Wednesdays and AI 929 on Fridays will depart at 10.20 a.m. instead of 12.50 p.m. and will be operated with the new B 777-200 ER aircraft.

 The Thiruvananthapuram - Sharjah flight IC 967 presently operating as Chennai - Trichy - Thiruvananthapuram - Sharjah and vice versa will  be operating directly to Sharjah from Thiruvananthapuram under the new schedule. This flight will depart at 8.30 p.m., instead of 4.10 p.m., and with the change in routing, more seats will be offered to Sharjah passengers from Thiruvananthapuram.

 IC 909 from Thiruvananthapuram to Bangalore via Chennai will depart at 6.30 a.m. instead of 6 a.m and IC 911 to Chennai via Bangalore will depart at 2.45 p.m. instead of 4.20 p.m.
