THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kalyan Sarees is all set to open its maiden showroom in the capital. The six-storeyed showroom will be inaugurated at East Fort on July 23 at 9.30 a.m. by Kalyan Sarees brand ambassador actor Jayaram. He will be accompanied by South Indian actor Shriya Saran who will launch the wedding saree floor.
The showroom will display national and international brands in fabric and from shirtings and suitings to furnishings which will be lined up on the first floor. The next floor will have a wide range of silk sarees from across the country, besides exclusive ones from Kalyan’s own handlooms. The Vaibhav bridal collection is also available here.
Ladies’ readymades, salwars, suits and churidhars will be lined up on the third floor with the kids’ floor just above. The men’s floor, which is on the fifth floor, will have branded shirt collections such as Louis Philippe, Peter England, Indigo Nation and so on.
It will have the latest trendy collections in jeans, t-shirts, pants and trousers. Kalyan Sarees, which assures a wide collection in good quality and reasonable price, is a trusted name in the textile industry for decades.
