THIRUVANATHAPURAM: For the first time in the State, BSNL Thiruvananthapuram is implementing the CDR billing system for consumers.

The new billing system will come into effect on November 22. This is as part of the BSNL’s efforts to unify the billing systems across the country. Once this comes into effect, the consumers will be able to access BSNL services in all sectors from anywhere in the country.

However, with the implementation of the billing system, the current meter reading announcement facility over 1962/1501 will be stopped. Instead, the consumers can contact code 1501 for all enquiries related to billing.
