THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:  The Gandhian Study Centre of the Kerala University, in collaboration with the Swadeshi Grama Vikasana Kendra, will conduct a three-day training in paper bag making, free of cost, as part of its anti-plastic campaign. The training will be conducted from March 15 to 17 at the University Students Centre.

The training will be for making bags using six different types of papers - newspapers, fancy paper, grey paper, wax-coated paper, cloth-pasted paper and wall paper. Training will be given to the first 60 persons who register. Those who are interested should apply to the Co-ordinator, Gandhian Study Centre, Kerala University, Thiruvananthapuram - 34 directly or by e-mail: paperbagtraining@gmail.com on or before March 8.
