THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Mahakavi Pandalam Kerala Varma Awards will be presented to poet Ezhacherry Ramachandran and B Murali, chief sub-editor of ‘Malayala Manorama’ Thiruvananthapuram unit.
Ezhacherry Ramachandran was selected for the award in the poetry category for his work ‘Jathakam Kathicha Sooryan.’ The award comprises ` 10,001, certificate and citation.
B Murali will be presented the media award for the editorial titled, ‘Kerala Kaumudiku Nooru Vayassu.’ The award comprises ` 5,001, certificate and citation.
The jury, chaired by Dr P Soman, had Dr K S Ravikumar and P Ravi Varma as members.
