Homage paid to Kosala Ramadas

Hundreds of people on Tuesday paid homage to noted trade union leader K P Kosala Ramadas, who died on Monday night.Ramadas was a former MLA from the Attingal constituency.

Large number of people from all walks of life came to pay homage to the departed leader when his body was brought to his organisation’s office at Nanthancode.

Speaker G Karthikeyan, KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala, CPI(M) politburo member and Deputy Opposition leader Kodiyeri Balakrishnan,  Benoy Viswam,  LDF convener Vaikom Viswan, KPCC vice-president M M Hassan,  V M Sudheeran, BJP leader O Rajagopal,  N A Karim, M Vijayakumar, MLAs K Muralidharan,  Koliyakkode Krishnan Nair and V Sivankutty , Mayor K Chandrika, CPI state secretary Pannian Raveendran, SUCI (Communist) state secretary  C K Lukose, Karakulam Krishna Pillai, Sankara Narayana Pillai, M S Rawther, C Divakaran,  Rajendradas, and others paid homage.

The cremation was held at Santhikavadam here at 6 p m. A remembrance meeting will be held  on June 8 at 3 p m.
