Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala has asked K J George, his counterpart in Karnataka, to conduct a comprehensive probe into the gruesome death of a Keralite medical student in Karnataka.

Rohit, hailing from P’Thitta, was found dead at Tannirbhavi in Mangalore on March 23. The body was found with his head severed. Though initial investigation of police suspected it to be a road accident, there were allegations that it was a murder.  Chennithala expressed shock over the incident and asked the Karnataka Minister to book the accused, said a statement.
