THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : The city police arrested notorious gangster Sobha John from her rented residence in Mannanthala on Monday night.
Sobha who was on bail in the Varappuzha sex scandal case was again accused of robbing cash and a motorbike of one Sathyaseelan of Manacaud in December last year.
Though her accomplice and coaccused Anilkumar alias Keppan Ani was nabbed, she was absconding since then. The arrest followed a tip off to City Police Commissioner H Venkatesh.Peroorkada CI R Suresh and Mannanthala SI Jose arrested the accused.
