THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: ‘Njan Ninnodu Koodeyundu’ directed by Priyanandan, has been selected for 17th John Abraham award instituted by Federation of Film Societies in India - Kerala sector, said federation secretary  V K Joseph here on Thursday.

Sanalkumar Sasidharan, director of ‘Oralpokkam’, has been selected for special jury award for best director and N K Muhammad Koya’s ‘Alif’ received the special jury award for best film. The awards were declared by a jury chaired by noted filmmaker P T Kunhumuhammed and members include sound designer M Harikumar and critic V S Bindu.
