'Santhwana Sangamam' Held

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:The Sai Gramam at Thonnakkal organised a get-together named ‘Santhwana Sangamam - 2015’ the other day in an effort to use the social media as a tool to help the destitute and orphans in the state.

 With the initiative, the organisation said that it aims to bring together the connections in the social media such as Facebook and Twitter to do good to the community and thereby turning into a role model for the society.

 Poet V Madhusoodanan Nair inaugurated the get-together at Sai Gramam as part of this initiative which was also attended by ISRO former chairman G Madhavan Nair, Mullakkara Ratnakaran MLA, BJP leader Karmana Jayan, actress Soniya Malhar, Sai Gramam executive director K N Anandakumar, vice-chairman K Gopakumaran Nair and Jagadeesh Kovalam among others.

 The participants of the get-together took oath to do good to the society via the community. They also interacted with the inmates of Sai Gramam.
