P K Rosy Award for Sethulakshmi

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The second P K Rosy Memorial Award will be presented to film and drama actor Sethulakshmi. P K Rosy, who had acted in the first Malayalam film ‘Vigathakumaran’ directed by J C Daniel, is the first heroine of Malayalam Cinema. Sethulakshmi has been selected by the P K Rosy memorial committee for her memorable performances in the Malayalam films which released recently. Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala will present the award to her at the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club at 4 pm on Wednesday. Minister A P Anil Kumar will preside over the function. K Muraleedharan MLA, fimmaker Lenin Rajendran and actor Chandini, who played the role of P K Rosy in ‘Celluloid’ will attend the function.
