THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : Our Responsibility to Children (ORC) project conceived under the Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) will be expanded to 20 more residential schools under the Schedule Tribe Department.

The Women and Child Development Department organised a workshop in connection with the project at the PWD Rest House, which was inaugurated by K K Shailaja, Minister for Health, Social Justice and Woman and Child Development. 

The ORC project providing social and psychological support to schoolchildren and was launched in Kozhikode in 2010. It has been implemented in 304 schools. Director of Women and Child Development Department Sheeba George presided over the function.
