VIJAYAWADA: Amaravati Development Corporation Ltd chairperson D Lakshmi Parthasarathi informed Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu that 251 acres of land has been identified on a hillock at Tadepalli near Mangalagiri for the development of the proposed zoological and night safari project in Amaravati. In the weekly review meeting on capital development on Wednesday, Naidu has asked the officials to explore the possibility of including a botanical garden in the zoological park project.

The officials have informed Naidu that the contractors for the construction of five towers of the Secretariat have been identified. “While NCC Ltd will be constructing the CM’s Tower (GAD Tower), L&T will be constructing Tower 3 and 4. The first and second towers will be built by SPCPL Ltd,” they said.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister instructed officials to communicate with the Union government for expediting the process of finalising flight routes between Singapore and Vijayawada.
