VIJAYAWADA:  In a shocking incident, a 26-year-old youth was thrashed severely by a financier for not repaying his loan amount on Monday. Unable to bear the injuries, the man collapsed at the police station while he was lodging a complaint against the financier. The shocking incident took place under Machavaram police station limits and the victim was identified as G Apparao. He reportedly borrowed Rs10,000 as a loan from Satyanarayana few months ago. The victim was later rushed to a hospital and discharged.

According to Apparao’s complaint, he took loan amount of Rs 10,000 from Satyanarayana to repair his auto-rickshaw three months ago. He requested more time to repay the loaned amount as he did not have the sum at the moment. Angered by this, the financier attacked him with his bare hands severely injuring him. Following Apparao’s complaint, police called Satyanarayana to appear for questioning regarding the incident. The police said that they might arrest the financier.
