Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority demolishes 12 illegal structures

The AP Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has demolished 12 structures, which were being constructed sans approvals,  in Yanamalakuduru and Pedapulipaka areas, on Tuesday.

VIJAYAWADA: The AP Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has demolished 12 structures, which were being constructed sans approvals,  in Yanamalakuduru and Pedapulipaka areas, on Tuesday. While seven structures were razed down in Pedapulipaka, five were demolished in Yanamalakuduru.

In a press release issued here, the director of the development promotion wing K Naga Sundari said that the CRDA would demolish all illegal structures including residential buildings; commercial establishments, which took up construction work without requisite permissions or build rooms in deviation of the approved designs would also face action. Meanwhile, the CRDA officials gave preliminary approvals to five of the eight applications filed during the open forum held at the authority’s office.  The applications sought permission to construct buildings.
