VIJAYAWADA: Sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force (CTF) raided a house in Kothapet under Two Town police station limits on Wednesday and seized firecrackers worth Rs 4.37 lakh.
Acting on a tip-off that a few persons are purchasing firecrackers without licences and storing them in rented accommodations, a team, led by ACP G Rajiv Kumar, raided a house in Pothina Appa Rao street and found Chavata Venkata Sambasiva Rao (36) stored firecrackers in the house without obtaining a licence.
