VIJAYAWADA: Sri Durga Malleswara Swamyvarla Devasthanam (SDMSD) Executive Officer (EO) VK Seena Naik conducted a surprise inspection of the scanning point at the temple atop Indrakeeladri on Saturday and reviewed the safety and security arrangements.
The EO personally visited the scanning point and inspected the functioning of the security system at the ground level. He examined the VIP entry register and other records maintained at the scanning point to verify whether the prescribed procedures were being followed. Seena Naik also issued several instructions to scanning point in-charge Anuradha, a junior assistant, regarding the discharge of duties and maintenance of security protocols. He directed the staff to remain vigilant and ensure that all security procedures were implemented strictly.
The EO laid emphasis on enforcing restrictions relating to mobile phones at the scanning point. He instructed the personnel to deal firmly with violations and ensure that the temple’s security guidelines were followed without exception.
He further directed the staff to maintain the highest level of discipline while performing their duties. At the same time, he asked them to speed up the screening process so that devotees would not face unnecessary inconvenience during their visit to the temple.
The surprise inspection was part of the temple authorities’ efforts to strengthen safety and security arrangements on the Indrakeeladri premises and ensure smooth movement of devotees.
