Durjoy Datta is an Indian novelist, screenwriter and entrepreneur. He also writes for television and movies. He has authored over 10 books under the genre of Young-adult fiction, romance and thriller. Being one of the highest selling authors in the country today, Durjoy wrote his first novel, Of Course I Love You!, when he was in the final year of his college. Since then, he has been known for writing books which clicks among the youth. Durjoy even left his high-paying job with American Express in Singapore to become a writer.
Durjoy Datta was born on 7 February 1987 in Delhi. He completed his schooling at Bal Bharati Public School, Pitampura in Delhi. After this, he pursued mechanical engineering from Delhi College of Engineering. For post graduation, he attended the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Germany and majored in marketing and finance.
His next novel, Our impossible Love is a romance fiction. It narrates the story of a girl who is a late bloomer and a guy who is confused about his goal in life. It is set to be released in January, 2016 under the Penguin Random House publications. The audience is looking forward to another page turner next year. With this book, it is safe to say that Durjoy Dutta can expect success. Durjoy Datta writes for television and movies. He has two youth shows, Sadda Haq - My Life, My Choice and Million Dollar Girl - From Banaras to Paris on Channel V India and also Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera on Star Plus to his credit.
