KOCHI: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday said if given a chance, NDA will bring real development to Kerala.

Addressing a poll rally in Tripunithura, he said, NDA will develop Kochi into an industrial power house. “We will develop an industrial corridor connecting Bengaluru and Kochi. NDA will also take steps to find a solution to the drinking water shortage in Tripunithura,” he said.

Listing out the development projects implemented by the Modi government, Fadnavis said the completion of Vizhinjam port is an example of the Centre’s development initiative.

Citing the allegations of corruption against LDF and UDF, Fadnavis said both the fronts have “stalled development”. While the Congress and Communists fight each other in Kerala, they are friends in Delhi.

People of Tripunithura witnessed this friendship in the standing committee election, he said. Fadnavis also participated in a roadshow from Maradu Nucleus Mall to Tripunithura. Twenty20 chairman Sabu M Jacob, candidate Anjali Nair and others also spoke.
