Producers of ‘Bigg Boss 4’ have emerged as winners. According to reports, the reality television show on Colors will retain its prime time slot of 9 PM for few more days since the Bombay High Court has issued an order of stay on the hearing to shift ‘Bigg Boss 4’ to the 11 P.M. time slot. It was the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting that initially filed legal petitions against the producers of ‘Bigg Boss 4’, accusing them of showcasing content that was not suitable for children. Therefore, the Indian ministry was of the opinion that the reality TV show should be shifted to the late night time slot beginning from night 11to 5 A.M in the morning.

Viacom 18 Media Private Limited, the sponsors of ‘Bigg Boss 4’ challenged the petition filed by the ministry of information and broadcasting in the Bombay High Court and it was on Monday that the judgment was delivered.

Along with ‘Bigg Boss 4’, Rakhi Sawant’s reality show ‘Rakhi Ka Insaaf’ had also come under the ire of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. It was said in the legal petition that the contestants on the show use such foul language and wear clothes of such bad taste that it may prove intimidating to children. And if the latest reports are to be believed, the ministry will henceforth keep a close watch on other programs telecast on Indian television networks. ‘Emotional Atyachar- 2’ shown on UTV Bindass may well be the next program to face flak.
