Fitoor Trailer: 'Great Expectations' With Picturesque Kashmir

ANI

NEW DELHI: The trailer of the much anticipated ‘Fitoor’, Abhishek Kapoor’s adaptation of Charles Dicken’s timeless classic ‘Great Expectations’, is out.

The trailer starring Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur beautifully documents the love saga of two childhood friends, Firdaaus Jaan Naqvi and Kashmiri-boy Noor. A snow-covered Kashmir provides a picturesque backdrop to the love saga; every frame looks heartbreakingly gorgeous.

‘Fitoor’ is all about an orphan boy and a rich girl and as expected, her mother (here played by Tabu) is against the very idea of them getting together.

The colour palette used to paint the film comprises of stark whites, flaming reds and muddy browns giving a surreal effect.

While Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Rock On!!’ was about the passion for music and ‘Kai Po Che’ a tribute to the Gentleman’s game, ‘Fitoor’, to be released on February 12 seems to be an ode to love in all its intense form.
