SAN LEANDRO, Calif. — Making a splash on the red carpet on the opening night of the 30th Santa Barbara International Film Festival Jan. 27, actress Freida Pintoshowcased her latest film, "Desert Dancer."

She wore a sheer, gray silk gown from Mason by Michelle Mason, deep-red polished fingernails and a bold bib necklace.
