WASHINGTON: Now, Caitlyn is no more just a TV name of former Olympian Bruce Jenner as ‘Caitlyn Marie Jenner’ is ‘William Bruce Jenner’s official name after she legally changed her name and gender on papers.
A Los Angeles Superior Court Judge has approved ‘I Am Cait’ star’s name and gender changing appeal, which she submitted just a week before, and will provide her with new updated birth certificate that will reflect her changed gender and name, E! Online reported.
The 65-year-old American TV personality, who in the recent episode of her reality show was seen consulting with the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s representative, reportedly quoted the reason behind changing her name was “to better match my identity”.
