WASHINGTON: Nearly after 10 years of relationship, American singer Jennifer Hudson and actor David Otunga are officially over!
The couple has officially broken up and ended their relationship after 10 years, confirms People magazine.
“They have been in the process of ending their relationship for a number of months,” Hudson’s representative told the magazine exclusively in a statement.
“Today, Jennifer requested and received a protective order against her ex-fiancé. Jennifer’s actions are solely taken in the best interest of their son,” the statement concluded.
The couple shares an eight-year-old named David Daniel Otunga Jr.
In less than a year of dating, the former pro wrestler proposed to Hudson in September 2008 and nearly a year later the duo welcomed their son in August 2009.
