LOS ANGELES: Actor Evangeline Lilly is not a fan of reboots and would not return if ABC ever plans to bring back its hit show "Lost".

The 38-year-old actor starred as Kate Austen in the series across six seasons. The show ended in 2010 and ever since there has been constant speculation about it getting a reboot.

Lilly said she hates reboots of popular films and TV shows and believes that they should be left alone. "There's a rumour every year that they are going to reboot 'Lost'.

The thing about reboots and remakes is that I don't like them in general, period. I want people to leave Star Wars alone! I did love 'Rogue One', as an aside.

But for the most part, I don't usually love them," Lilly said. "I feel like it's just tainting something that's precious. I've said I don't want to do things in the past and I've done them you know, never say never but sitting where I am today, my assumption is no," she added.

The actor is currently awaiting the release of "Ant-Man and the Wasp" alongside Paul Rudd. The film also features Michael Pena, Walton Goggins, Hannah John-Kamen, Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne and Michael Douglas.
