Barely a film old, actor Suhani, who made her debut in Appavi, is yet to learn to communicate with the media. When a reporter called her to get a brief interview before the release of Appavi, the actor’s mother answered the call but didn’t say anything else. There was silence in the other end. So, the reporter hung up, thinking there was a connection error. When a call was made the second time, within a few minutes, the mother answered the phone again. But this time, the reporter was greeted with an irate mother who was shouting at the latter for not speaking the first time. Despite several attempts at trying to explain that it was a signal problem, the mother continued shouting. After calming down a bit, she curtly replied that her daughter had gone to a relative’s house and abruptly cut the call. It’s ironic really, when the daughter debuts in film titled Appavi, the mother is being rude to the media. Wonder what her next film is going to be titled —Adi Paavi?
