Veteran actors Jagadish, Mukesh, Siddique and Ashokan are headlining a new comedy entertainer titled Pathira Kurukkan. The film’s first look, featuring the four leads, has been unveiled. While Jagadish and Ashokan are seen as policemen in the poster, Mukesh appears to play a Hindu monk or 'sanyasi', while Siddique’s attire suggests he is portraying a Muslim character. The film marks the reunion of the quartet, who are popular for sharing screen in the popular comedy franchise, In Harihar Nagar, 2 Harihar Nagar and In Ghost House Inn.
Pathira Kurukkan, directed by Jayesh Venugopal, went on floors in April this year. It is scripted by Sunil Karma and Nikhil Jinan. As per the makers, the film revolves around four men from different backgrounds who become trapped in an unexpected crisis and their attempts to overcome it.
Nirmal Palazhi, Riyas Narmakala, Sudheer Paravoor, Kutty Akhil, Aneesh Gopal and Tessa Joseph are also part of the cast. The film has cinematography by Selvakumar S, editing by Athul Vijay and music by Gopi Sundar. Sijo George is producing the film under the banner of Appai Cinemas.
