The Indrajith Sukumaran-starrer Kaalante Thangakkudam has wrapped up shooting, the makers announced through social media. The film, which was announced in 2024, has taken over two years to reach the completion stage.

Directed by debutant Nithish KTR, it also stars Joemon Jyothir, Siju Sunny, Althaf Salim, Siddique, Prasanth Muraly, Nayana Elza and P P Kunhikrishnan, among others. Nithish previously worked as the editor of the 2023 horror thriller Phoenix.

Kaalante Thangakkudam, jointly scripted by Nithish and Sujin Sujathan, has cinematography by Alby Antony and music by Rahul Raj. The film is produced by Vijay Babu and Vijay Subramaniam under the banners of Friday Film House and 29 September Works, respectively. Details regarding its plot and genre are currently being kept under wraps.

Indrajith, who was seen in Anurag Kashyap's crime thriller Bandar, is also reportedly part of Bethlehem Kuduma Unit co-writer Kiran Josey's directorial debut.
