After Ranbir Kapoor's street fighter look from "Bombay Velvet" came out last week, leading lady Anushka Sharma's jazz singer look in the film is now out.
Anushka looks super glamorous in the black and white picture as she holds on to a microphone and sports a puffed up hair-do and a complete retro look. Though Anushka is supposed to sport her infamous big lips in this movie, the poster at least doesn't give away the full effect of the lip job.
Yet, this look is surely a welcome change for the audience who have got used to seeing her in the girl-next-door avatar.
Directed by Anurag Kashyap, "Bombay Velvet" is the story of street fighter Johnny Balraj (Ranbir) and jazz singer Rosie (Anushka), set in 1960s Mumbai. This is Anurag's most ambitious and most expensive project so far.
