Khatara Fetches Award for Mantra

Actor Mantra is one of the very few actors in the Bollywood Industry, who, apart from being a part of films, TV shows, serials and theatre, has also done short films. This creative actor is not only involved in the making of the short film, but has also acted in it.

Mantra’s film, Khatara, had it’s first pit stop at the ‘4th Bangalore short film festival 2015’. Mantra received the Best Actor Award for the same. Of the 200 films were selected from 20 countries, 70 were screened. The film  also got a standing ovation at the screening.

Khatara is a story of a small town simpleton and his love for his car. It is produced by Mantramugdh Productions, in association with Pitara Studios and Purple Production.  Mantra is elated and says, “I am very overwhelmed with the response from the audience and jury alike. I am glad I received the Best Actor Award for my debut production. The film was made straight from my heart.”
