The Anthony D’Souza directed biopic of former Indian cricket captain Mohammed Azharuddin has Emraan Hashmi playing the title role while Prachi Desai plays his wife Naureen.
Prachi had begun her career playing Farhan Akhtar’s wife in Rock On looks set to make a mark in yet another wife role.
To help prepare for her role, the actress reveals that she met up with her real-life counterpart. Prachi says, “I met Naureen. She was so nice that all my presumptions were left behind.”
While Prachi also has Rock On 2 to fall back on she is obviously hoping that her pairing with Emraan can recreate the success of their first outing together, Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai (2010). She says, “This is my second film with Emraan and it is getting even better.”
